I am tired. I am exiting the conference call. And nothing new is being asked. I am not sure what the replay number will be, but you can find out from Loral IR.

4 sats per launch, soyuz and delta, adequate spares for one or two more failures. more than one or two failures would put us at a shortage of hardware. Zenits are on the out.

Zenit employee reported from the "nominal" expectations. Basically read from a script. G* didn't realize what really happened for 30 minutes. Then worked all night on the press release.

$85 million delta in cash flow for new launch schedule
$100 million in interest and operating costs

Revenue projections drop from $400 to about $100 because of this for 1999.

Service providers remain committed.

I* lead is not important, none of the players will be able to satisfy demand. G* did not anticipate a market-share war.

Global currency crisis is not of concern. G* is aiming for a higher demographic.

Would LOR increase its 42% stake in G*? BS will not deny it, but says they will be looking very closely. There may be an opportunity at these levels, haven't expected it, but will try to look at it. Outstanding public float is 70 million shares, may include stock options etc.

Y2000 should not hurt cash flow. 2002, same capacity, and will be 50% of capacity.

$400 million needs to be raised by 1Q 1999, possible bank debt if more sats are in orbit (too premature to comment, not looked at carefully).

That's all from me, I'm going to bed.

later,
geoff

I have to confess. I sold the million shares short. For those too serious, I'm kidding.
