William, "I believe that the specialist already knows what the approximate outcome for the first fiscal quarter for Seagate will be." Come on now. Not even SEG management "knows" what the outcome for Q1 will be. Every quarter for DD cos. is backend loaded, but that is especially true for the summer Q, as it is the slowest period of the year until Sept., when the DD cos. start rampimp up for the heavy Dec. season. And quarters where ASPs are going south as fast as in recent months are especially dicey, as the OEMs wait for the best possible deals at quarter end. Things change fast in this sector, in case you hadn't noticed. For better and for worse.
