Ok folks...just ventured into the IIX.. bought ONE Sept 340 put for 15..bid ask was about 14 1/2 to 15 5/8..they gave it to me..and then moved it to 13 1/2 to 15 all numbers by memory here...so you know what that means hardly any premium....comparatively speaking to the SPX OR Oex..(its almost as if it expires this friday...there is so little premium...) the only thing you have to watch out for is the spread..which you have to with the spx anyway... so we will see how this works...
