I am under the impression that there will be no more testimony by anyone in this case unless Clinton is impeached. If impeachment proceeds, the House of Representatives will be the "prosecutor," the Supreme Justice will be the "judge," and the Senate will be the "jury." Am I missing something? Best wishes, I2

Marc: Re: "The only likelihood of wholesale abandonment of the Democrats is there is overwhelming evidence of multiple pervasive and unquestionable serious obstruction etc." Wholesale abandonment will also occur if Democrats, in the face of deteriorating poll numbers, view that their political survival is in question in supporting the President before the midterms. If your scenario plays out and we are in impeachment hearings, I see nothing good for the markets short term or for this country for that matter. Impeachment hearings will do nothing for investor sentiment both here and abroad and will do nothing for our leadership role in the world.
