I think it will have very little effect at all. The market has been fluctuating violently with no regard for the Clinton crisis for weeks. The original downswing was attributed to the Russian crisis. The upswing was attributed to possible easing by the Feds. Today could just as easily be profit taking and a reaction to world markets and the world economic crisis. The market made it through Nixon's resignation, and it will make it through the Clinton crisis.

Numerous articles have also been saying that the crisis has had no effect on the market. The truth is, no one knows what causes a market to go up or down in the short term.
