I use the uv light technology to control the algae in my fish pond (the uv generates ozone which destroys the algae and a pump moves the water past the lamp so it does it all every couple of hours) it is low tech and there are a bunch of companies already supplying the home market

Hello Mr. Stein:
Agreed. UV light is a commercial process in water treatment plants. It is used by my municipality--I think on the incoming stream, to deal with aerosol issues.
