Not so much anymore. This was a true statement last year and priot, but VC is not just throwing money at anything that moves anymore (as they once did). Still, I agree with you that some folks will leave to create their own start-up's but these numbers will be small as a percentage of the total staff. Anyway, it's a mute point since I don't believe Cisco has any intentions of buying ASND. I don't think Cisco finds large acquistions palatable due to the time and effort they take to integrate into operations. The market is moving too fast right now to take on something like this. Instead, Cisco would like to see LU purchase COM's which will slow LU down dramatically and not provide them with the tools they need to compete. Then perhaps INTC will pick up ASND. That would be CSCO's wet dream. OG
