Interesting indeed, Alan. Like John Gotti might have said, "People get murdered all the time- Why are the feds picking on me?" It's all so unfair. Let's wait and see how many spiked projects Bill's legal eagles can come up with. I'm sure Andy Grove gets strongarmed all the time by those other guys.

Maybe the Unix crowd needs to be investigated as well; this doesn't exonerate Microsoft from being guilty of its own actions. China could easily use this "everybody else does it" defense to prove that its software piracy operations are justifiable in light of the same operations occuring in all other countries.
