Sacks of grain are pretty hard to store. I really like the 20 franc bullion gold pieces, selling slightly over spot (going up as we speak)

What absolutely nobody will consider (except Prechter and a few wacko's like me), is that we could have a worldwide financial crises much like the 30's with billions of soveriegn debt going up in smoke. In the 30's we were the greatest lending nation, now the greatest borrowing nation. Not good. It seems unthinkable, but how safe are US Treasuries considering this?

The Harry Dent book is a disastrous indicator. I just heard an analyst say basically the same thing last week. "The new technology will drive an economic expansion and worldwide prosperity that will be unbelievable" Read the 29' history books. Quoted verbatim!!!!

I'm thinking of running down to my local Walmart and stockpiling bags of kibbles for my 5 cats and canned foods, can't eat poots -g-
