depends on which month you hold - All banks will miss their 3rd Q earnings and God knows how much exposures they have in Latin America - Brazil market lost 15% today. Nobody can access the damage until it actually happen because of all the derivative products involved. Last count, the estimate is over ONE TRILLION combined when Congress demands to know before any more funding to IMF is being considered. I guess why the value of these financial stocks went down so much so quick is because most of their collaterals are essentially CLAIMS on some financial papers, rather than hard assets.
