For a buyer of Dell, you have to love a day like this.

All reports of sales and cost are working in Dell's favor yet the stock price is at 17% discount.

Longer term, a great day to buy!

stock b <<The big sell off is attributed to Brazil being down 15% and possible devaluation >> this would impact cpq and hwp's earnings, but because Dell has only 2% of the market share in all of latin america, the impact on Dell would be light. the fact that Dell hasn't yet built their factory in Brazil would prove a bonaza; the cost of building/operating their factory will drop on any devaluation.

one aspect some are forgetting is the ability for multinationals to borrow cheap money from japan then hedge against currency fluctuations. if we all recall, Dayton Hudson boomed it's Target store sales with cheap money in the early 90's (3% loans) by rebuilding a ton of newer, larger Target stores in selected markets. cheap money for a fast growing business generally means faster growth.
