Tomorrow.

The S&P 500 futures closed at a big discount to cash of 1,079 points. If the futures don't rally in a big way tonight, then we are looking at a decline in the DJIA of about 170 points tomorrow morning. A lot of news came out after the close today that should be the impetus for a big rally.

INTC announced after the close that third quarter revenue would exceed expectations. They also said that margins would "be up a couple of points from 49 percent in the second quarter". INTC was trading at 83 1/4 after hours, up 4 3/16 from the NY close.

ORCL released earnings after the close of 20 cents per share, beating the First Call estimate of 16 cents by 25%. The stock was trading at 24 1/2, up 2 3/8 from the NY close.

ADBE announced earnings after the close of 37 cents per share, beating the First Call estimate of 35 cents. The stock was trading at 27 1/2, up 11/16 from the NY close.

MSFT was trading at 102 5/8 after hours, up 1 7/8 from the NY close.

DELL was trading at 57 1/2 after hours, up 2 3/4 from the NY close.

CSCO was trading at 90 1/2 after hours, up 2 1/16 from the NY close.

IBM was trading at 122 1/2 after hours, up 1 1/2 from the NY close.

I suspect that the S&P 500 futures will rally in a big way this evening. They crashed after the DJIA closed on very low volume and trades were 100 points apart.
