You mean, 'should have'. Grammars aside, AMZN, YHOO, AOL all closed very respectably after a difficult day. Have we seen a temporary bottom on these overvalued stocks? Who knows? I am still short...

Weird end to the day with AOL, YHOO and AMZN all moving up quickly in the last few minutes of trading (could be others, too, I haven't checked) -- YHOO and AMZN jumped on extraordinary volume. Looks like a fund stepped up to the plate.

As far as this being the end of the slide for AMZN in particular, I'm skeptical. The chart on this stock is still butt ugly.

But what the heck, if AMZN rallies a bit on short covering, all the better to reestablish a short position.
