LW - what MD was saying is that CPQ took on this tremendous staffing overhead that will keep them from being as profitable as DELL That's what he said... but a year ago, he was talking up use of DEC service as the perfect model, and frankly, it made Dell #1 in service. I think MSD is scrambling a little here while he puts the plan together (kind of like steve young getting flushed out of the pocket, the color guy says "that's when he's most dangerous..." ). He needs a high end service component to go into the enterprise, and that probably means people unless Dell can educate a lot of the IT world.
