(INTC) 79 3/32 -2 5/32: leading chip maker expects Q3 revenues to come in above Wall Street expectations; on a sequential basis, it expects Q3 revenues to be 8% to 10% above Q2 level of $5.93 bln; also expects gross margins to be up two points from 49% level in Q2; according to First Call, INTC projected to earn $0.73 a share in Q3, vs year-ago net of $0.88 a share..... Oracle Corp. (ORCL) 22 1/16 +1/4: relational database concern posts a fiscal Q1 net of $0.20 a share, four cents better than the First Call estimate, vs year-ago profit of $0.15 a share; sales rose 21.4% to $1.7 bln; see press release.....

IKE here we go guy<gggg>>....Big Rally coming... I said to you that INTC had NOT warned, the only positive for the semis...it looks like this is the real bottom, this quarter...good news for the SOX.... The internet stocks will explode tomr..LCOS-AOL-XCIT-SEEK-AOL-ATHM-MSPG-CMGI-----you name it they will fly...DELL should fly too... i feel good about this coming rally, but damn it, there are so many problems out and about,,,,.... You know IKE i'm thinking, could there be a concerted rate cut from the G-7???? Germany-England-USA etc??? might spark the biggest short covering rally in the history of these markets....:>} I have this crazy thought that keeps creeping into my feeble brain... 1000 points in one day!!!!!!!!! only Alan G... could do that....50 basis point cut....he he he.......hey ya never know....

Good Mornin' Ike...ASEA did not react positively. Tokyo brokedown the psychological 14000... HK, if any credibility is left down big (249) so far, HKMA may intervene at anytime... Pls keep us posted on footsie, dax & cac as the day unfolds.. TIA. A'voire. //db

NDX.X Nasdaq 100 Avg 1,290.20 Up +54.83 (+4.44%) message from IQBAL LATIF on Sep 10 1998 4:48PM EST Clinton will be priced only after Primikov fears are discounted, I think since late afternoon I am looking at NDX.X and other lows I am seeing the kind closes which I see in my intraday trading as signs of some kind of bottom, -------------- PS-The index which I highlighted last night roared up- on Friday late afternoon this very signal gave me the buy at the lows--
