Urlman,

Looks as though we will need Benedict Arnold to sort this all
out. Isd seems to have tested a pico design (seems to be from
LG Semicon) as well as others. Doesn't seem to come to any
conclusions as to the ultimate functionality of the systems
tested. Wonder if there is any more info to be had with regards to
this. Obviously, the picoJava design has yet to be produced. Wonder
if they ever will, and wonder if this testing concludes that the
chip performs well. Also have to wonder at what price point this
chip can be produced. Lots of questions.

urlman-

i would assume "the 32 bit PicoJava processor" must refer to LG's and not Advancel's since LG is co-developing the picojava processor with Sun and i can't imagine Sun letting its trademark be tarnished. I note the article refers to it as 66mhz. i wonder if that's still the case; if so we shouldn't we have it beat w/ our 100mhz soon to be 150mhz. ...bob
