Great advice Mike(edited version),I will check the put pricing for NEM and TVX---should have done that yesterday---I do believe that longterm
that that gold stocks are at long last a solid investment as a hedge
against a very unstable financial global market--NEM is able to be profitable with gold at prices below 200,and if gold returns to
330 area it is a 50 dollar stock---I have a simple objective to have
8-10k realized profit per month--my play last month to make 17k on
PSIX I at one point had 140k invested---my trigger finger is based
on the basis that it is better to miss a profit than have your trading money caught as dead money--my rule of thumb right now is I MUST
take breakeven whenever I have doubt and am still learning technique--but as KZAP points out, that for now this has become a daytraders(or 24 hour trading) market--and I realize that if gold had tanked today
my decision yesterday would have been correct--the point is,whenever
you take breakeven is O.K. if it only takes one successful trade a month to meet your objective--I document my experience as I want it to
be a diary of a person learning from zero knowledge and to see if it
can be done---and to document that stocks is a very compelling and challenging enterprise--but I relize I must spend more time at my computer.Good luck,Max

ola amigo, APCO was very interesting today indeed. nothing but buying through most of the day. If not for current market conditions, I think it would have broken through and stayed above the downtrend line today.

I hope we can stabilize a little bit. No matter how fundamentally sound a stock is right now, it is hard to justify buying something other than to day trade right now. I know institutions don't necessarily look at it that way but they also don't buy at higher prices if they are pretty sure they can get it at a lower price either.

Another interesting thing to watch will be how APCO handles the upcoming options expiration. If memory serves me correctly, I believe each of the last 3 expiration dates they have been at or close to the lower one than the previous one?
