Ha, a negative comment in YBTVA

acquisitions, stock buybacks, and the money comes from??

fnews.yahoo.com

"Selective' hunting

What kind of "selective" purchases might Young be willing to make?

Before Young put itself up for sale in June, Chief Financial Officer James Morgan told CBS.MarketWatch.com the company was on the lookout for TV stations operating at low margins because it has the management expertise to boost margins quickly."

(Nice expertise they have, they bust margins quickly) <g>.

Besides from being emotional, they do have weak fundamentals offering a decent short.

Mr. Pink,

I ask for Your forgiveness. At an impulse, and without even doing any DD, I immediately bought Sept 22.5 puts on FP @ $1.00 within 30 minutes of Your first mentioning it when the stock was at $26... blindly following your lead. Just sold them for 4 to 5 times my investment, all in a week.

I feel guilty.

Any kind words for the afflicted?

Rex

PS, Check out MTRS (Metris), Looks like a house of cards to me in the same vein as FP. Could easily go to $30. They have been buying consumer credit.

Re: LHSG

Just completed my DD on LHSG and I'm interested in playing it on the downside. However my broker tells me that he has no stock to lend, and even if he did it would be susceptible to call in a short squeeze.

That leaves the puts which are expensive.

What sort of time frame do you have for this stock to trade (significantly) lower? Do you think its better to buy deep in the money puts, at the money puts or puts about $10 out of the money, say with a $45 strike price?

Thanks in advance for your help and advice.

PS Please don't recommend selling calls, that's not my game.
