ORCL's 1st QTR is always by and far the slowest; analysts know this and project numbers accordingly. The reason is that every potential sales deal is blown out by Fiscal Y/E -- May 31. Thereafter, the Company does its re-org ritual (I call it musical chairs), while those sales reps that made their number look forward to the Club trip, and those that didn't look else where for jobs. The bottom line is that not much happens in regards to revenue generation in Q1; always been that way.
