Anybody care to comment on what this means for ATHM, if anything? I have an Adelphia cable internet service for the past 2 months and was very happy about it. I guess the service is spreading so fast in my area that the phone lines (this is a one way service) started becoming quite busy in the past three weeks. I kept asking around to find out why ATHM and Road Runner were the only companies discussed on the threads while a company like Adelphia kept infiltrating the markets in Virginia and North Carolina, and I don't think I found a satisfactory answer so far.

All the best.

Hi John,

San Diego isn't divided between ATHM and Road Runner but rather between Cox Communications and Southwestern Cable.

To my knowledge they offer only ATHM and Road Runner respectively.

I don't think TCI is available locally. I'm from Chicago where TCI was the major player. I'm not too familiar with the talks other than the fact ATT reiterated a few weeks ago it was going to move forward with the plan.

Regards,
Stuart
