It is convenient to invoke the "everybody does it" defense, but I don't see where any other president has committed perjury or obstructed justice in a legal sense except for Nixon.

You may have had your problems with Iran Contra, but I thought the goals were noble and carried out to further the best interests of the country. True, the operation got out of hand with its illegality dictated by the partisan Boland amendment. Face it, it was a botched covert operation, but one designed with this country's best interests in mind.
