CIEN/TLAB might go bust. I think if MRV plays their card right, they could be snapped up by TLAB for much less than the 38 (I think) they have offered for CIEN. Heck, I'd do 25 for MRV.

Doesn't LU already have WDM technology/product? Isn't LU the company purported to be eating Cienna's lunch at AT&T? (T canceling orders for WDM from Cienna). Why would LU be interested in MRVC if they (LU) already have a superior WDM product? Don't get me wrong, a buyout of MRVC would be welcomed in the $15-20 range.
