Globex S&P Futures have been deteriorating all night and are now negative. May pop back up into the positive overnight but any rally tomorrow will likely be sold into heavily.

Intel's forecast won't help any of the banks and it won't stem the mammoth sell-off in Japan happening right now. Starr just exacerbates the gloom. Slick Willy's tale of woe will be read by millions tomorrow and that can't be good for sentiment.

Jeff,

Nikkei down 4.37% at 14025, Hang Seng down 3.45% at 7578. Globex for S&P now barely up at +50. Optimism is fading. We'll see in the morning.
