rudedog... this deployment program, Im not familiar with it, are you saying that Compaq is the only vendor who can sell NT 5.0 for some reason? Because the sql server people I know say they are looking forward to an NT 5 + sql server 7 on one of the new Dell servers and in fact I thought there were benchmarks etc. going on as we speak. nationsbank likes Dell NT servers and they are going to want NT 5 upgrades when available, etc.

Come on now rudedog. You know this ans. INcrease in sales, moving up the enterprise food chain, etc etc... The shipment of NT 5.0 is MSFT most important undertaking and milestone, this is one of the reasons DELL now has a storage division.
