Internets..I'm glad there were so many that were able to get onto the internets in the crucial last 1/4 hour, although I posted from 3:15. By tomorrow everyone will know of the increases in the Internet sector and it will be harder to get in without the inevitable gap up in the morning. I'm in the S&P calls and I expect at least an early morning rally. I've gotten e-mail about the oil service sector, but I wouldn't expect too much there. They usually surge when the other sectors are under pressure. Same with the gold.

As usual, tomorrow I'll be spending the market hours looking for stock highlights, news and answering e-mail about companies that should interest you all. The chat room will be going through a test tomorrow afternoon and if it passes, it will be ready by next week.

The datafeed will be updated from 9:00 until 10:30 at least. I was glad to get an e-mail that someone was able to get onto ABCR after the earnings report came out.

In these trying times it is important that we keep abreast of the activity on the street throughout the day.

Despite the down markets in Asia, despite the troubles in Washington, the S&P futures are up 9.30. I don't even speak of the next 5 hours but the next hour. I'm interested in making gains from ORCL being bid at 24 dollars a share and upgraded to BUY from to buy from Lynch, our watch list candidate CCL, LCOS and even the S&P calls. Semis and techs will probably open strongly. I'll be watching the gold sector and the oil service sector. We are traders and make money where and when we can. You can't wait for the optimum and safe time to trade, you make due with what you get. You can't hold long in this market. If you insist on holding for a week or more, you will be left battered and frustrated. That's a fact not a trading strategy.
