A buyout would be around 20B, 4B for USRX (50% loss) and 16B for the real COMS' intrinsic value.

In most discussion this is ruled out. COMS products don't
match up with LU very much. ASND might be better.

If LU where to buy out 3COM, then there has been talk that
parts of the company would possibly be spinned off.
Too much guessing on all these front.

COMS also has close ties with Siemens.

But, one can never rule a LU/COMS merger out completely.
We all don't know how it's going to work out, but it seems
like LU has better fits with others than with COMS.
