Does anyone think this is the reason Qwest is down?
As I see it Qwest's technology is validated by the moves that others are making to make themselves more like us. The thing is, we've already got the technology and they're struggling to keep antiquated systems operating as they try to modernize.
The bottom line should be that even if they manage to completely modernize their system, we should be able to provide equal quality at far lower costs as we're not burdened with the cost of transition to the newer system. Residential and Business customers are recogizeing that the biggest is not necessarily the best, and the bottom line counts.
In the mean time, Qwest keeps getting more customers and contracts, but the stock's down substantially more then the market, can anyone explain why they think that's happening.
Talk to you later,
Gary
