Kinda crunched too, but Bernie didn't say to much about financing. Expressed confidence, even if shut out of the public debt markets, which he doubted. Agreed that up to about 400m more might now be needed. He said if worse comes to worse, partners were likely to be a good source. Including Lor itself, in part. He emphasized that it was a small hole to fill in a very large project. Analysts seemed to basically accept. He also emphasized that it was not an immediate problem. It's a 2nd Q 99 issue.

However, there is a risk of equity dilution. Esp. from a G*, as opposed to Lor, point of view. My editorial point of view. Most likely they can raise the debt money without equity dilution, me thinks.

I think a KO short does make some sense. Better yet PG or G.

I would recommend waiting to add to Lor and esp. G*. I really doubt that all the funds that now want to sell have gotten out. It takes a while. Most all of the analysts are going to drop to hold. Funds will want to take the tax loss, and add back later. A bit of a bump in tomorrow or the next day or two after wouldn't surprise, but there's a lot of selling pressure.

Also, seemed clear to me that not all of the announced substitute launch schedule is really firmed up. In the process. Potential for some later than first stated announcements. Little good potential right away.
