This thread is toast. Truman Bradley was the founder and the keeper of this thread. His official retirement from this thread marked the end of its run. All the action from now on is in the discussion area at www.bobbrinker.com and that is obvious by just reading the ongoing active posts on that new thread from many new posters each week. Anyway, all that remains here is Dippy's delusions that the Clinton impeachment inquiry has nothing to do with the market. He has become so delusional that it has become a very sad sight to see. He is so in love with the Clinton Clan. I am out of here! So long Truman, its been great to know you!

ok, let's get back to business then. i think bob being out of tune has helped to cause this thread to stray. in any case, i have a question. it is one thing to say that the dow and s&p will surge to new highs. it is another altogether to say why. i see earnings growth slowing. i see a possible global financial meltdown. i see the weakest earnings i've ever seen (accounting gimmicks to exclude too much bank from the ops income). i see very high pes (not to mention a weak "e") relative to historical norms. this doesn't bode well, imho. what does bob see that i don't. what am i missing that makes me think bob is betting that the pyramiders come back to take this to new highs? what is his thought process? tia...
