Gary: Most brokers are well intentioned but they lack any knowledge of trading and/or investing skills. They are SALESMAN who are trained by their firms to have a narrow view of the business. These days their product is managed money all the way. For most clients that's probably the best course. Unfortunately alot of these clients who bought in over the past year will dump their managed funds at a hefty loss in the coming weeks. The market always finds a way to take the money out of the weak hands;)
