Hi Rudedog,

Starting from the things Dell does well at a business model level rather than a product perspective is probably how to get to the answer.

I thought that was the premise to begin with! The implications, to me, are:

1. Something that requires assembly;
2. Something that that is required by businesses
3. Something that is sufficiently commoditized so that it can be sold without significant personal contact (i.e., something that you could sell over the internet).
