Doug, Navigator 4.06 deletes temp internet files automatically,
usually when a few hundred have accumulated. I notice HD activity when
this happens and at the screen bottom it says "deleting 743 temp
files" or something to that effect.

Cookies? No, I thought cookies need to stay intact, or
else I can't access certain web sites. For example WSJ,
where I have a subscription, but need not sign in.
Cookies don't take much space.
I just checked: my cookies file is only 22kB.

I don't delete my cookies. They don't take that much space and I don't have reregister and obtain new passwords for the sights I visit. I guess if you get right down to it and spend the time, you coluld delete selected cookies. Everything else, I delete on a weekly basis.
