Hi Steve,

Well it does indeed look bad this am..looks like your wishes may come to be true and we are going to get to the low forties or less!! Shocking but very possible now..I'm not so sure that this will only be an *am* thing: Few traders will want to hold latam during the weekend..? The only possible source of good news for Brazil could now come from Rubin, but we are still away from that point IMHO..

Congress apparently has decided to release the Starr report even without reviewing it first themselves(contrary to Starr's directives) to weed out potentially private/protected material that could harm innocent people : I can only imagine the consequences of this stupid action. Oh well, the soap continues..

Steve good to see that you're still up there leading the thread. We should show them before too long. If this thing keeps going down soon enough Telesp and Embratel combined will be worth 10 dollars..!
I for one will be buying some time soon maybe today..

Victor (a.k.a. Viktor)

Wake me up when we get back to book value at $85 or so and start to begin to correct the severe undervaluation.
As I predicted, the US bankers/brokerages (i.e., Morgan Stanley) have done their job (i.e., Faber reports on TBR for the last 2 days on CNBC). Not that I'm complaining. Just wish I had such access...
