I believe you will find these issues have been addressed in the September 8th issue of Marketimer which also discusses the mid term off presidential year bottom which appears to have been put in around Dow 7537 and S & P 954 and Nasdaq 1500 as all of these have held all subsequent closings since August 31. Details are on pages one and two of the newsletter dated Sept. 8th. The problems in the White House are cited as one of the reasons the correction exceeded original expectations of around 10% and eventually reached 19% August 31 at the close.
