Why IBIS? Message 5676067 While the success of AAPL at this point in time is not dependent upon the success of IBIS, the IBIS SOI technology will affect the performance of future Macintoshes before it affects other platforms thanks to IBM. Apple, IBM, Motorola and IBIS Technology form the PowerPC coalition. OK it's a stretch, but humor me. The increasing valuation of IBIS is a loose measure of investor acceptance of the validity of the performance claims. Especially, in light of the fact that there is no news to drive the stock up in a down market yesterday. FYI: AAPL 37 5/8 or -1/2 IBIS 10 3/16 or +7/16 HerbVic
