MSB - could be - as to timing perhaps but the actual program must have been months in the making. Kennedy was clearly involved in 'high crimes and misdemenours' and would not have survived had there been an IC looking at his every move. Mind you the great dramas of the theatre, and literature would not be possible without characters flawed in some ways, special, even great, in others. It is necessary to look at the 'whole man' before we judge totally. There are many zealots out there and one has to question their motives and the brutal arm twisting involved in this situation. I couldn't think, looking at the ABC program, of what small beer we have in front of us compared with LBJ and JFK to mention only a couple, and not forgetting RMN. If he sticks it out willl he survive. The dynamics of this thing may change in ways we can't anticipate. Hypocracy is rampant and I hope that revelations about members of the house and senate become rampant too on the basis that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. We can make much of lying to cover up an affair, even under oath, even by a President, but then we have to consider if it is a sufficient crime to undo the results of an election. This is the political issue before the Congress. I now will brace myself for the onslaught! But spare me the holier than thou platitudes please! E
