Deflation

It is difficult to have bouts of deflation while the money supply is growing 6% year over year. Deflation will also not occur while Alan Greenspan is the head of the Federal Reserve...he will do whatever is necessary, that is, inflate the economy if that is what is needed.

Interesting. I am not an expert in this area but a friend of mine told me that he thought all but a couple of the components of the Goldman Sachs Commodity Index are down from last year.

Does anyone have details or input on this one?
