Don't know it this is relevant or not, but in a previous post of mine, I mentioned that whenever I use my ATM card instead of writing a check, both Visa and the bank get a cut of the ?1.5% charge. Would this have any impact on discussions between CF, banks or billers?

The problem (as it was explained to me) is that no one yet knows for sure if Visa's system is robust enough to be able to deliver all of the header information needed to effectuate a transaction. Supposedly, Visa claims that it can, yet it remains to be seen.
