Well... they may be buying for a wrong reason, but I don't mind. US investors have been buying mainly non-voting A shares, so a large chunk of Nokia's K shares are still in Finnish possession. The possibility that Finnish owners would consent to a take-over is somewhere between zilch and zip. Since the market cap is around 40 billion, only Bill Gates and Queen of England can afford a hostile take-over... and she would have to hock the crown jewels.
