Oh, oh, mea culpa! You are right, Aleta, it IS "adorn the truth".

I apologize to PT for once again getting this wrong.

I woundn't want anybody to think that PT would stop at simple embellishment. Embellishment of the truth is casting it in a particular light. A bit of re-arranging and prettying-up.

Adornment is, indeed adding what is not there, and that is much closer to what PT does!

Gees, JT, BF, and Aleta, you get like this all the time when someone reports an observation? You're worse than three little kids! It's not like I didn't have factual information in front of me, when I reported a database update of September 10, 1998.

I accidentally came across the whois registrations while searching around Internet.com. I typed in echoMEDIA, and the whois domain registration for Sesame-ad came up. It said that the database was updated on September 10, 1998. Given that seemed a recent date, I reported there was work being done on the program. What's wrong with that?

I don't read whois registrations on a daily basis. In fact, it was the first time I actually did a search of this kind on my own. Now, how was I to know that the database for all domains are updated on a daily basis. I didn't know that they things functioned under an automatic system.

I reported my observation. It seemed clear there was an update on September 10th. Meanwhile, I'm trying to get out the door, I've got people calling on me to "hurry up, let's go," and you guys are peppering me with quips that the update was not the update. How am I supposed to interpret that?

In fact, I'm out the door again. So I'll have to pick up on this later with you folks. Enjoy the day!
