If Clinton drags this out, it will distroy the markets IMO. Best case scenario is for him to resign between now and when the report is released. Hurry up Slick Willie, do the right thing.

MO? S/T, I think a presidential impeachment might only be worth a mere 200-300 pt.(dow) slide, which in this market is readily absorbed. I think that in the long term(6 months +) it will depend on Gore's ability to show leadership. If he fails, then it's worth a bear market until close to next election.

All just my stupid opinion, which I reserve the right to change like the wind, and you also know what they say about others opinions.lol, so take it as you may.

very good chance of a relief rally. President's problems
have been discounted in the market, but this drags on
for another 3-4 months, it won't be good for world
events.

Market will rally once it knows it's getting this off it's
plate permanently. Much more dangerous problems to
be considered.

inmho the impeachment process will provide still more volatility to the market because of lack of a strong leader and if the impeachment goes through we will still lack leadership. Gore will have a very tough time also. The Republicans will create as much havoc as possible to gain the Presidency for as long as they can and if that means the next year and half to two years we will have a volital state of affairs in the markets.???!
