William, I am somewhat new at this. I really appreciate your insight and enjoy your post. Can you explain how a specialist can bring down the price. In fact I'm also confused as to how one can SHORT a stock and then proceed to bring down the price. How is this done? Do they sell their own stock lower hoping to create a herd mentality? Your comments would be much appreciated. Thanks Roger
