Garbage on the screen is almost always the video card. Have u tried switching the monitor to the other card, and vice versa? If the problem switches monitors, it's the video card. If it stays on the same monitor, it could be the monitor.

not to sound stupid but whos driver are you using?

MS or ATI

and have you tried switching to whatever you aren't using?
