David,

Yes, still with Fido Spartan. It's been a trip. I now have a direct dial number for 1 trader (which avoids the 800-number hold problem, at least when he answers the phone). This trader will stay on over 30 minutes at a time, putting in buys/sells as I call them (without having to confirm all the details of my order). Unfortunately, this trader is leaving Spartan, which is a real drag, but there is another trader who is starting to help out. Anyway, I'm told they are going to assess whether there is something that can be done to make this day-trading activity work better (i.e., to improve my ability to get through to a trader quickly and have him/her available for long time).

Anyway, I've found it is nice to have a person on the phone to talk to and second-guess trading moves. FWIW, I've been doing almost all INTC trades and the fills recently have been excellent. I still have the forms for MBT and CyberT, but Fido is doing something to make me want to stay. (The commissions cannot be beat: $14 ROUND-TRIP on a 500 share buy/sell, it makes it possible to make money on 1/16th).

Best,
Gary Korn
