Darrell, the argument there is that not every Chinese can afford a computer. Third World growth will not be as fast as the developed world.

As LoD point out, 99.99% of the population growth you're pointing to is simply trying feed themselves. Infrastructure in these countries is non-existent and you need infrastructure to be able to deliver connectivity so people can use a computer - or even purchase one. That's why many people are betting on the networking stocks and I suspect it is ASND, LU, and CSCO's success or lack thereof that will be leading indicators to increased computer sales in these emerging markets. Currently it is my understanding that sales of networking equipment in Asia is very soft.
