Plus, those being laid off will not only be having to sell, they will also no longer be adding to the 401k's. It's a double whammy.

Richard not to many compute what is going on in the mutual fund area but i think some are now with the returns dwindling . The younger people that need additional will pull out but the younger ones that don't will stay long term.
It is the retirement end i see as panic. They have more time to read are more intune to world as long term.
They are seeing thing that most young don't see as they are to busy working to support the kids to really pay attention to the world economy. IMHO

Doesn't dawn as fast lose X how much time does it take to make X up.
