Regarding the timing of the distribution of Leap wireless - the "record date" does not mean s*#$, only the ex-distribution date.

If you buy QCOM in between the record date and the "ex" date, you will catch the spin-off (and smoothly) just like QCOM shareholders who bought QCOM before the record date.

Buy QCOM before the "ex" date, and you are all set.

don't get too excited because even chicken little is being disputed.

None other the qdog himself sent me an email, claiming he was the original chicken little. I suspect this chicken issue requires congressional inquiry before it is finally decided.
