One possible scenario: Sell off today into the close out of fear of weekend news. No bad weekend news. Big gap up on Monday as happened last Tuesday. News from Russia, Intel, Oracle & Mike Dell's comments gave the market a boost today but not as big as if, say, those same events had happened in early July. If nothing bad happens over the weekend; if Starr's report doesn't look 'too' bad, we could gap up big time Monday. Check out the volume on the Sept calls for some of the big techs 1 strike price ahead of current price. Action suggests upwards move next week in the techs at least.
