Sean go back to the kids on the Yahoo thread!
Your language is not appreciated here!

" To All: SUN misleading, overvalued, worth only $5."

How dumb is this? How old are you ? Over 15?

Ralf

Sean,

I spoke to some SUN people about your statement, and they told me that JAVA developers with NT experience are a dime a dozen in the NY area. The opposite appears to be the case with those with UNIX experience. Perhaps SUN was being picky. Maybe you are overvalued?

Sincerely,

Al Cern

So the answer is that you don't have any UNIX experience.
Why didn't you just answer that?

He is not asking wether you know Java. He is going after
your fundamental OS background. A majority of the software
engineers at SUN work with a variety of OS and programming
languages.

A must read.

Dump SUN and invest in MSFT.

I totally agree with your comment. I am a JAVA programmer. I got a call yesterday
from one of the SUN guys asking me if I had any UNIX experience since I had
been working mainly with NT. I told him that since SUN portrays JAVA to be
platform independent what difference would that make? He thought I was being
defensive. I had to tell him that his question was rhetorical. SUN obviously
employs a bunch of dumb F****. I was not happy after speaking to the guy and
made me rethink that my impression of SUN as being one of the good guys is
wrong. The stock chart for SUNW itself portrays that anyway.

At the end MSFT rules.
