CTC, pardon me for holding true to my marital vows. I have not had any relations with any other woman since the first date with my wife.

But then again, as a Gen-X/slacker I have yet to reach the pathetic mid-life crisis I've seen so many boomers go through.

I personally tend to have more respect on a generational level toward the WWII generation. Call me old fashioned.

Look for this attitude to be an "upcoming trend".

Can you say "trust".

<<OT>> With all due respect, oh venerable feline,

Perjury (lying under oath) is a rather binary crime - it either took place or it didn't.

The subject matter of the lie isn't relevant.

Respects, but in disagreement about "evidence,"

Mr. K.

<< I'm sorry, lying about a sexual relationship does not fall in that arena. I wonder how many people on this thread have had extramarital relations and lied about them?>>

Spare me. The issue is lying UNDER OATH re. the Paula Jones deposition. I wonder how many people on this thread have had extramarital relations and lied about them UNDER OATH? Perjury is still a crime.

Regards,
Bill

I've been a victim of lying about extramarital affairs. I'm rather surprised Hillary is standing by Clinton -- once broken, that trust can never be regained. It's taken me a while just to trust people again. But I've recovered, and am now with a strong woman who is helping me become more strong.

As far as the lying goes, I agree with mrknowitall and Mr. Triplett that it matters not what was lied about -- what matters is that the most powerful person on the planet lied to each and every one of his employers. Personally, I could care less, as this thing does happen every day to "you and me," but if we're going by the letter of the law, I think Clinton's term is doomed.

Enjoy,
KenB

~OT~ How about obstruction of justice and witness tampering? Also, what in your opinion, do the recent revelations/confessions mean to the credibility of the Paula Jones case?
